Baltimore County Paramedic Pleads Guilty to Contaminating Ice, Other Items With Bodily Fluids

A Baltimore County paramedic accused of contaminating ice and other items at county fire facilities with his bodily fluids pleaded guilty Friday in Baltimore County Circuit Court and now faces up to 20 years in prison.

Christopher Carroll, 36, was seen in one video urinating into an ice maker and giving a “thumbs up” to the camera. Investigators said DNA recovered from contaminated items matched Carroll.

Carroll was charged in February with 20 counts of knowingly and willfully causing another person to ingest bodily fluid and three counts of malicious destruction of property. He pleaded guilty Friday to three counts of causing another person to ingest bodily fluid. The remaining charges will not be prosecuted as part of the agreement.

The Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office is recommending a 30-year sentence with all but 20 years suspended, followed by five years of probation. Carroll’s defense attorney, Seth Okin, will be allowed to argue for a shorter sentence.

Carroll attended the hearing wearing an orange jail jumpsuit and did not address the court other than giving "yes sir" and "no sir" answers to questions from the judge. Several uniformed fire department employees attended the hearing.

Prosecutors allege Carroll contaminated communal items including an ice machine, coffee creamer and a co-worker’s computer keyboard. Carroll recorded some of the acts for online accounts.

In court Friday, Assistant State’s Attorney Logan Frye presented Judge Dennis Robinson with a statement of facts summarizing the case against Carroll.

According to the statement, rumors began circulating throughout the Baltimore County Fire Department toward the end of November 2025 that an employee was posting videos of himself urinating in an ice maker at a fire station.

A co-worker whose responsibilities included filling medics’ coolers with ice became concerned about the rumors and checked Carroll’s social media posts, Frye said. The co-worker viewed “lewd and sexual acts,” including video clips showing the Pikesville station’s ice maker. The co-worker then subscribed to Carroll’s paid content and was able to view an entire one-minute video showing Carroll urinating into the ice machine. The video had been posted to the subscription-based site JustForFans.

In another video, prosecutors said, Carroll can be seen ejaculating into coffee creamer and returning it to a communal refrigerator.

On Nov. 24, 2025, Carroll’s profile on X, formerly Twitter, uploaded a video from the Pikesville fire station showing Carroll from the waist down wearing a BCFD uniform. According to the statement read in court, the video shows Carroll walking toward a large ice maker with the caption: “They always say don’t drink the yellow snow, but I’m just trying to make a slushie.”

Police said the full video shows Carroll urinating onto the ice, wiping his penis on the scoop and using the scoop to mix the urine into the ice before making a thumbs-up gesture toward the camera.

In the five days between the contamination and its discovery, 16 people reportedly used the ice maker.

Another incident involved Carroll contaminating his supervisor's computer keyboard with semen at the Public Safety Building on East Joppa Road in Towson.

Carroll has no prior criminal record, according to Okin. He has been jailed without bond since his arrest in February.

The judge opted not to order a psychological evaluation after Okin said he would present existing information about his client’s mental health at Carroll’s sentencing hearing Oct. 13.
