Member of Carjacking Crew Pleads Guilty
A man charged with more than 100 crimes pleaded guilty Monday in Towson to three carjackings — including one on Christmas Day 2022.
Lovelle Little, 21, of Baltimore, also admitted to being part of a criminal organization during a hearing in Baltimore County Circuit Court.
Jailed since 2023, Little agreed to a plea arrangement for 20 years of active prison time on a 45-year sentence, followed by five years of probation. Sentencing is set for next month.
According to the Office of the Attorney General, Little was part of a group that ambushed and robbed unsuspecting drivers at gunpoint in late 2022. One co-defendant is also accused of murder.
The joint investigation by the Baltimore Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives began after the Nov. 3 murder of Delaka Augins, 38, during a carjacking.
Augins was shot during an attempted carjacking in the 2500 block of Brookfield Avenue in Baltimore City.
According to the attorney general’s office, investigators used ballistics evidence and surveillance video to connect that murder to:
—An attempted murder in the 3200 block of Rosalie Avenue on Dec. 10, 2022, and
—A shots-fired incident in the 1400 block of Monroe Street on Dec. 13, 2022.
Little was identified as the suspect in the shots-fired case, said prosecutor Kenneth Joy of the Office of the Attorney General.
Little was originally charged with more than 100 offenses.
In court Monday, Little asked Judge Garrett Glennon to note that he was pleading guilty only for himself and was not informing on his five co-defendants.
“My client just wanted to make it clear that his plea is for himself and that during this plea he did not implicate any of the co-conspirators,” said defense attorney Janice Bledsoe.

Anecio Rodriguez, 21, is charged with more than 100 carjacking- and robbery-related offenses including murder. His trial is scheduled for January 2026.
Twan Ellis, 21, is charged with 67 offenses, including armed carjacking, robbery, motor vehicle theft, and assault. His trial is set for February 2026.
Kevin Mills, 22, of Lanham, pleaded guilty in September to being part of a criminal organized and two counts of carjacking. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Jovon Haines, 18, pleaded guilty in September to being participating in a criminal organization, first-degree assault, and second-degree burglary. He was sentenced to seven years in prison.
A fifth co-defendant is a juvenile.
According to court documents, the group would carjack and rob victims at gunpoint, photograph stolen vehicles along with registration cards, VIN numbers, and sometimes titles, and then list the cars for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
Police searching Little’s home recovered 18 sets of car keys, a stolen handgun, multiple victims’ identification and credit cards, and clothing Little was seen wearing during several robberies and carjackings, Joy said.
A search of Little’s phone revealed chats discussing carjackings, photos of stolen vehicles, and other investigative leads, he said.
